I had my surgery on 5/16/11.  My back killed me for the first 2 weeks back to work.  I went back after 2 weeks.  I thought is was how I was holding myself since I was sensitive about my stomach area.  It has finally stopped hurting.  So that said, I think it will go away with time.

My upper back has been bothering me since surgery and it has just gotten worse.  I have been treating it with acupuncture and now chiropractic care.  I am going to bring in an ergo-specialist to evaluate my work space.  I think perhaps rapid changes in my body are forcing me to sit/hold myself differently.  I am pretty frustrated - not from the surgery - thrilled with that.  But it feels like taking a step backwards!  I feel like I am shelling out money to come sit in my chair at work where I am supposed to MAKE money.  ****** me off!
