2 years out on July 27 2011
I am now 2 years out from having VSG surgery.
Starting weight: 430
Surgery day weight: 387
Weight today: 245
Lowest weight: 230
I am maintaining between 240 and 245. I need to work on better foods and more water and less diet mountain dew. Overall I feel I am still doing great. Not much of a skin issue at all.
How is everyone else doing at 2 years out? What are you eating and drinking?

Nice to hear from someone with more than a few months under their belt! My husband and I are scheduled for 8/1.
We're putting a lot of hopes on the long term benefits from this and hearing your post gives me hope.
What are YOU eating after two years, if you don't mind sharing?
Thanks and Great job!

Diet Dew is not very good for us. Diet pop in general is not very good. I have just always had a bad habit of drinking it. I do not seem to have any bad effects from it at all. I read that it can stretch your pouch but I am not sure how much I believe that. I do know that I need to get away from it and drink more water again.
