You've lost 50lbs in 3 months? That's pretty good. What does your surgeon's eating plan say you should be doing?

If you are not losing, you may not be eating enough. If you don't have a plan from your surgeon,  Start tracking what you eat, precisely.  Try to stay between 600-800 calories, over 70g of protein, and under 40g of carbs in a day via several small meals a day.  Up your activity level, get plenty of rest and try to get between 80-100oz of liquid in a day. Take your vitamins and calcium.

Hang in there we all want to lose faster but you were doing great on a faster pace than I did and I made it to goal and you will too. Even now three years out maintaining I find when I am eating too little I actually gain weight los to me like you are not eating enough try and up it just for a couple days see what happens. I know it is scary to do so but that was the advice I got when I was feeling where you are on my journey and it worked. Eat more times a day. Like a fire you have to keep feeding it in order for it to continue to burn other wise it just stops burning and dies out. Hang in there you are doing great you will get there. Congrads on your success so far. Cheers

Not sure if I am correct here but I thought they really didn't want you having stea****il further out.

Is it possible you are just in a stall or even a plateau? What about exercise? Just figure you should have these questions available for the vets when they come here and read this.

You can always email your surgeon and see what he says.

Would you kindly confer with your nuritionist to get the proper advice of how many calories you can eat and what you can eat?  I could eat solid food after 4 weeks and that included steak.  50 lbs is a lot of weight to lose in 3 months and please know that some here embellish their weight loss.  Your body will lose naturally and will stop losing weight for a period of time to catch up with a rapid weight loss.  Starving yourself will only hurt you.  Please seek professional help.  People here can only make suggestions, but your nutritionist or doctor will give you the best advice.

Fifty pounds in 3 months equals an average of over 4 lbs/week.  That is great!

It doesn't sound like you are eating enough though.  You really should track your food and try to see where you stand in relation to the guidelines.  Hopefully they gave you some guidelines.  If not, 600-800 calories, 60-80 protein, up to 40 carbs and 64 oz fluids is the average.

When I was where you were, I was following my doctors plan (with a few small modifications).  I also made sure to log my food intake, ensuring that I was meeting my doctor's protein goals.  I ALWAYS ate my protein first at a meal.

thanks ladies I do take everyones recommedations.. I do track and I am am around 600 calories and 15 carbs and about 90 grams of protein.. I think maybe I need to add another protein shake or a nother small meal of protein.. which will increase my calories a bit..

Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Also, I haven't been exercising because I just started a new job on Monday after being a SAHM for 14 yrs... So I have been extremly tired..
