A book on Vertical Sleeve?

So I'm thinking about getting the vertical sleeve done in Mexico bc 1) I don't have insurance and 2) it's cheap(er) than here in the states.  I feel like since I'm not getting it done here I don't really have a support team (other than this forum ;) for information.  I was wondering if anyone has found/read a good book about VSG.  There's a Bariatric Surgery for Dummies I found on amazon, however, one reviewer stated that if you're getting VSG, don't get this book since they don't talk much about it.  I can't find anything else that looks good.  I can not make up my mind about this surgery and am just confused about what to do.

I have no idea what life will be like afterwards and am just looking for a good resource to help me come to a conclusion.

Yes to the above link. I heard that Dr Alvarez had a book out and he is one of the top surgeons in Mexico as well.

Thanks!  Is the book at all biased towards that particular surgeon?  I was thinking of going with Dr. Kelly.  Does it make any difference?  Same info regardless of who the dr. is?

From the description I don't think it is biased.

VSG on 04/07/11 with
The book is a nice general overview of the surgery the lifestyle and several different techniques. The last chapter is testimonials about Dr. Alvarez' patients but overall no biased toward him in particular and a nice companion for anyone. Of course I happen to be one of his happy patients so I AM VERY BIASED :)
