This is NOT Queen Yoyo  I'm her friend and had my VSG  2.5 weeks ago.  I have a constant feeling like a large pill is lodged in my throat and can't swallow liquids, jello or full soups without intensifying this sensation and bringing on nasea.  Only able to get 25-30 oz. in in day and feeling weak and discouraged.  Doctor's nurse recommends I take a Nexium morning and night which I will begin tonight.  Any other advice is sooo welcome.   Thank you.

I think the nexium will help.  Sometimes the temperature of the liquids made a difference.  Try tiny sips at different temperatures, maybe you'll find what works best for you.  Go ahead and take the nexium now and let it start working, take the next one in the morning.

I am no  expert but this seems not normal. I suggest a visit to the doctor asap. Please post how it goes.   Diane
