This time last year I was recovering from my VSG on Nov 22, 2010 This year I am 90 pounds lighter and have never felt better. I am so blessed. VSG has changed my life! I had a great day with my family. I am so thankful.

I know many of you may still be wondering if it is worth it, but it is. I have a very normal lifestyle now. Last year I was happy if I could drink an ounce of liquid. This year, I can drink as much fluid as I would like. I only have to mindful of how fast I eat. I still only eat a few ounces of food at a time and am satisfied.

I can walk up stairs without being winded. My body thrives on movement. It's amazing.

Hang in there! It is worth the effort and patience!
