About 5 months out, and finished my first 5k! w/pic

Hi Everyone!! Just checking in...so here I am almost 5 months out, and feeling awesome. I'm down about 80 lbs so far and have like 45 to go. I can't believe I actually competed in my first 5k yesterday. Has always been a dream of mine and now I think I may be addicted lol Getting this surgery has been the best decision of my life. I am very fortunate that I have had absolutely no complications. I'm still staying on track with my diet because I'm still trying to lose. My main thing is under 40g carbs and at least 60g of protein. I try for more but that's the avg. I have no problems saying no to breads and sweets, I've found good alternatives I guess. That and I don't like how I feel after I eat bad so I really don't do it much. And I track every bite that goes in my mouth on Myfitnesspal. I've gone from a 20/22 pants to a 12/14...I'm right in between and an xxl top to pretty much a large. I really have never felt better. I get told how great I look almost everyday, which is kindof a mind trip. Some days I look in the mirror and see the same person I was at 247 and other days I feel like I've lost alot. I'm guessing that never changes. Well I hope this little post helps someone! Hope everyone is doing great. Love my sleeve :)
