Wait for others to post, but it seems that i read before that some feel the stiches in that area at times.  If you have naseau or a fever I would call the doctor.  Otherwise, hopefully somebody else may have some idea.

ick - I had something similar... my bellybutton couldn't dissolve a stitch and it had to be removed.  Had to 'pack' my navel for a couple of weeks and now it's fine.  Mine was a sharp pain, with a red 'stripe' going under it headed down... it was warm/hot to touch.

If it gets warm, you get a fever or if - sorry about this - pus or something liquid comes out of it - call your dr immediately.

Good luck!

I am having the same pain...sometimes it's way more intense then others...I asked the doc and he said that is where most of the work is done...they pull your excess stomach from there and that muscle is stretched big time. He said it can take awhile to heal and I could go a few days with relief and it just up and start hurting again. You have so many layers of muscle they have to go through and it will take awhile to heal. Other then that bothering me...I have had no other complaints with pain. So I'm hoping it goes away soon!

I had the same thing, mostly in that largest incision.  My doctor said it's the nerves in that area starting to "re-fire".  Just keep an eye out for redness and warmth, which may signal an infection.

Yes I had the sharp burning knive like pain from about 2 weeks out until about 5 weeks out. I am now 6 weeks out tomorrow and the pain is mostly gone. I feel twinges but NOTHING like it was.

I used a heat pad and took my liquid pain medicine to sleep at night. All suggested by my Drs office.

Hang in there, it will get better.
