I started my pre op liquid protein diet today.  I did this once before and they had to post pone my surgery last october.  Let's hope this one is for the real deal because I would like to have this over and done with so I can get to the losers bench.  Pray for me because I don't have a lot of will power.  Thanks

Good luck!!! I will be right there with you next Monday! What are your plans for what to eat? I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow. Broth, sugar free jello and popsicles, Propel, G2, protein shakes....am I missing anything? Keep us posted on how everything goes!

You can do it!!  My pre-op diet was for 4 weeks on Optifast and I thought I would die!  However....it wasn't as hard in the end as I thought it would be!  good luck!

I started today as well and so far it has been an epic fail. I can't find the perfect combination to make the protein shakes. So far they are too watery, too thick, or too foamy

I use 6 oz. Of skim milk and add frozen yogurt to the mix. Seems to give me a smoothie consistency.

Ugh, I would kill for milk or yogurt right now. My program requires water only and unlimited sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, and low sodium broth
