Final decision: I'm Getting the Sleeve!! YAY

After A LOT of research, Ive decided to get the sleeve over the lap band.  I scheduled another appt with my dr to discuss on Tuesday and to schedule surgery for the end of April.  Im so excited to start my new life! 

I think youll be very happy. My mom was a failed lap band story and since I have my sleeve she is now considering it :)

yes, when I initially went in, it was for band.  But, after my own research, I decided on sleeve also.  I was just sleeved on 2/14, so I am still weak and completely zapped of energy, but not one bit sorry about my choice.

 Congratulations! I was also sleeved on 2/14 . I have pretty good energy and virtually no pain, if it wasn't for the post-op nausea and leak test I wouldn't think that anything had been done. Hope you feel your energy return quickly and continue to heal and have a speedy recovery. Best wishes.

I was going to have roen y and I am so glad I'm going with the sleeve - My surgery date is 3/14 - Once I decided which surgery it was going with it was such a great feeling. Good luck
