physical
I had my annual physical today and I wasn't dreading going to it for the first time in I don't know how long. Their scale is a bit higher than mine, but I'm about 100 lbs less than in 2/11 at my last physical. The johnny I wore wasn't an outsized one and I had room to spare. The one last medication I'm on is being reduced in dosage, - she gave me a script for 1/2 the dosage, and another script for just the BP med without the added diuretic in case with the 1/2 dosage I'm still losing too much fluid! I had my bloodwork there, so I'll get those results in a few days. But overall it was fabulous and I walked out of there happy instead of feeling like crying. I love my sleeve and pray I don't ever forget that!!!!
Yea, I'm honing in on the goal originally set by the NUT. I'm keeping that one until I reach it, but at my 6 month, the surgeon and then the NUT both agreed that I can go 15-30 lbs lower, which brings me closer to a normal BMI. I have a very large frame and lots of lean body mass, so to go too low would not be healthy. The 1st goal is still in the obese range for my height, and the other goal is still in the overweight category - go figure! Thanks for the encouragement! And, at my physical today, they say I've shrunk a little, so my height went down 1/2 - 1 inch. Oh the joys of being post-menopause! LOL
