I posted a question about bra sizes after surgery here

http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/vsg/4513005/Question-for-t he-ladies/

Now I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Brazilian Butt Lift DVD for an exercise option?

I want to lose weight but would like to keep some curves!  Any advice on how you did it would be great!  I would like to even start now, pre-op as I'm trying to lose as much of the weight as I possibly can.

Start weight:  252 pounds

High weight:  268 pounds

Had a good rounded butt all my life, it is now flat lol. No need for me to want a brazilian butt lift, I think I will enjoy my flat one.

if you want a curvy butt, you should try Nia - the exercises are fantastic, the instructors & regulars get something called 'Nia Butt' - amazing!

I ignore the "woo" (the spirituality crap) and focus on the moves & music.  Haven't done it in a while (arthritis) but its great!

What I know about this program is this: It's really effective, but incredibly hard.

I've just started working out and want to do Brazil Butt lift in the future, but I'm going to have to wait till I'm in much better shape. I've heard some little skinny women talking about how they couldn't get through the first 10 minutes.

Revised from band to sleeve on June 6th, 2012. Lost 48 pounds on my own in the 4 months prior to revision.

Yes it looked incredibly hard.  It's probably one of those things you can only do a few minutes of and eventually with time you might work up to a total of 5 or 10 minutes LOL  That was my experience with the abs workout dvd   I could barely do the 5 minute quickie program- felt like I was gonna die!  LOL

I will look into the "nia butt" workout... is it as hard???

LOL I suppose if I had a choice between being thin with a flat butt and being fat, I would certainly choose being thin.  But if I can do something to help it along, I will.

Jimbo, I'm sure you can do some "research" and let us know

the only thing that's hard about Nia is finding an instructor now that everyone has gone Zumba crazy.  Nia encourages you to modify the intensity & depth of movement to suit your own abilities. I modified it so that when my knees were bad I did 'floor work' along the wall, for example.
