Had my endoscopy this morning..

Only one more day of appointments next Tuesday and then I'm off to insurance!

I wanted to share the funny though...
When they wheeled me back it was like a big party, they had music playing and everyone was happy. So when I came to I was singing one of the songs playing during the procedure...

I can see clearly now the rain is gone... I can see all obstacles in my way... LOL

He did find a hiatal hernia which he seemed unconcerned about. Of course my friend had to fill me in because I was still singing when he came back to inform me of that LOL.

I know that song! That is too funny.  Nothing like a little music to brighten your
day.  I wonder if they can take care of the hernia when they do the surgery?
It seems a lot of people get hiatal hernias. Good luck to you and keep singing.

When I had my endo done they were singing as well. I also have a hiatial but I don't think it was addressed because of it's smallness.

My surgeon does repair a hiatal hernia when they do surgery, just adds a few extra minutes to the procedures. Also, even if they do not see it while having the EGD, sometimes while doing surgery they do and go ahead and repair it. I have not had surgery yet but I am an operating room RN
