I've lost 44 pounds now, since my surgery on January 19th, and everyone else seems to notice it more than I do! I've been feeling like I haven't lost as much weight as I should have at this point. I've seen it in my hands (rings not fitting) and bras (no explanation needed) and even my feet (favorite shoes - gone!), but keep wondering when it's going to come off the rest of me!! BUT.... I just had a revelation a couple of days ago. I was standing talking to someone at work and put my hands on my hips and, lo and behold... there it was! MY WAIST!!! So, it seems it IS coming off the rest of me after all.
So, now I feel better. Thanks, waist!!
