In less than 24 hours....

I will be sleeved! I cant beleive its happening and I also cant beleive how nervous and scared I am. Ive cried four different times. But my sister and mother both came up (i live four hours away) last night and are planning to stay with me for a week. They have both been so helpful and supportive. Between my family, friends, and all you on here I dont think anyone could have more support. In all honesty the only thing im really nervous about tomorrow is them trying to get my IV started (its always takes about 4 tries for any kind of blood work, iv's, etc). It will even be worse because after this bowel prep i have a feeling im going to be lacking in fluids. But I will get through it. Tomorrow is the first day of a new healthy life. :)

I know the fears, I had them as well.  You are very lucky to have a supportive family!  Just think, this time next week, you will feel 1000x better, and be well on your way to rocking your sleeve!

I'll save your seat on the loser's bench.

Good luck to you, you will do well. I am 4 days post-op and everyday gets better and better. I experienced some nausea right after surgery and the day after, but once that went away I was much better. I'll be praying for you, keep us posted!

Good luck. I am sure you will do fine.  You will have your family around for support- that's great.  Enjoy your opportunity to start your life over as a thinner and healthier person.
