GOAL!!! Half the Woman I used to be!

Today was the day!  I weighed 159lbs.  Wow, what a ride and so worth it!  My highest weight was 320 years ago.  I now have lost more then I currently weigh which is why I say I am half the woman I used to be and proud of it. :)

It took 17months to arrive.  I have lost 111 pounds since my surgery weight of 270.  I am 51 years old, post menopause(complete hysterectomy 2009), consider myself a slow loser and I have PCOS.

No matter how long it took though, I made it and you can too!  Just keep plugging away and never give up!

Currently wearing a 6-8 pants and S-M in others!

I love my sleeve!

Awesome - and I can relate.
I also have PCOS, have passed menopause, have arthritis issues, and I'm well into my 50s. I was also on two diabetes, one cholesterol, and one blood pressure prescription pre-surgery. Now, I've been off all the old prescriptions since the day of surgery, I'm able to be more active with less pain, the weight is coming off, and I generally feel better than I have in a couple of decades. Reached Onederland this morning too! I'm also optimistic that, while the sleeve can't turn back the clock, my physical condition will continue to improve every day.
