My doctor said that I may see weight loss vary from week to week..She also said there may be a week you dont loose and then the next you loose alot. I am 1 month out from my surgery and have started to eat. People who see you everyday won't see the weight loss as quickly as someone who does not see you regularly. I also think the more you have to loose the longer it takes to see the loss. My family cannot see my loss but someone who had not seen me in a month just saw me today and noticed. The journey is long be patient!

You are doing everthing right..

Wow. Well. I had surgery on 04/10. I have lost about 5 lbs. Now imagine that. Puts a bit of perspective to it, doesn't it? I'd kill for your loss right now.

I see a lot of people have replied, but I also wanted to help you set an expectation -

A majority of us end up stalling out around week two, or three, or four - this is really normal and expected.  So, if it happens to you in a few days, don't despair.  You can search "three week stall" and see hundreds of posts.

Stick to your plan - you're doing great.

It sounds like you are doing great but falling in to that trap of comparing yourself. I am hoping to be a little bit of a slower loser like you! And on the noticing front...a few years ago I lost 60 lbs and it wasn't until I was 40 in that people started to notice anything was different.

Seriously? It scares me that so many people having surgery have such unrealistic expectations. Do you think someone who had never been overweight would be disappointed at this drastically quick weight loss? Makes me think that there is so much "disordered" thinking that should be addressed before people have surgery. Dont mean to be harsh but you will drive yourself crazy if you continue to go down that path. Celebrate your weight loss and be patient.

Wow! Are you kidding me? You have lost more in 11 days than I did in the first two months! I'd say that you are doing great! Milk this quick loss--'cause it gets harder the further out you get! :)
