BC patient experiences..have questions!!

 I'm waiting for my 1st appointment in June with Victoria Bariatric , I'm hoping to connect with other patients for info about the process here in BC. My understanding is the Vertical Sleeve is covered under our Prov. Medical plan..anyone have good or negative experience with getting it covered???
I'm eating more because of the anxiety I have over getting approved :-(  The surgery isn't the scary part for me..it's the cost..as I am a low income single parent of a special needs child with multiple medical issues. My focus has been on her for many years, and I'm not able to work in a job that pays well because I am not able to always be available for work because of my daughters emergency medical needs.  I need the surgery to take care of my health so I'll be around to take care of her.  Any info would either relieve me of my anxiety or give me insight of what to expect...
