VSG on 03/28/12

Whenever I feel like I need to burp, the only way I can do it is by pushing on my stomach. Is this a normal thing to have happen?

I hiccup and burp constantly now...especially when my sleeve is at max capacity... it is the sign to stop eating for me..

I have never been so gassy in my life! I'd say we're all different, but I'd ask my doctor if I were you. The nurses in the hospital were insistent that I move gas both ways before I could leave. Hope it gets easier.

It may be temporary. You are about 1 month out, right? I'm a burping machine since this surgery.
