Before & After 4 months

I am now more than half way to my goal. I officially weigh what I did in high school, on the lower end of the scale, but I look a lot less bloated than I did at the time. I found that the reduction of carbs and sweets makes my shape a lot more slim. If I eat carbs and/or sweets I start to "look" fat even though I weigh the same. I am finally starting to see the scale move. After a couple months losing a pound every 2-3 weeks or so, my body seems to finally be letting go of the weight. I've lost 8 lbs since Easter. Seems like every other day I step on the scale it is going down. As far as I can remember I have never been below 150 (I know I was at one point, lol, but I don't remember it) So when I get past 150 I will be in "no-man's-land". I'm really excited to be getting so close!

Congratulations! You look so good! I have followed your journey with a lot of interest because you have been so open about your ambivalence regarding surgey and the whole process. I felt like once I got through healing and all, I felt really normal again (in a good way). Hope you're thrilled - you've earned it!
