Or else I'd be up a creek.  I understand one's palate will change post-op, but I thought I'd try out a RTD protein shake today.  Bleck. Eww. Nasty.  Too, TOO sweet.  Back to the drawing board, I guess.

I've found that I'm sick of all of the sweet stuff too! Never thought I would say that in my lifetime.

No comment.....

Actually on topic....have you tried Premier Protein RTD shake?  They are really pretty good.  I could tolerate them right after surgery and still have one daily.  Good stuff.

If you think they're sweet before surgery... just wait till after.  It's sweetness magnified a thousand times. They gag me so bad.  Can't find a single one that I can get down.

They are too sweet for me too.  I started mixing my chocolate with a cup of coffee and a tbsp of unsweatened cocoa to take the edge off.  It's the only way I can drink them.

I bought a sample of the Nectar Protein Powder in Almond milk and it is not too sweet.  I also discovered Noose Yoghurt.  A little pricey but worth the yummy taste.

I drink a Premier RTD Vanilla shake in the morning for breakfast. If I dont drink a protein shake for breakfast, I usually have a chocolate protein shake that I make in the blender with 2 tbsn of PB2 for dinner (YUM!). I never really liked protein shakes before but I got used to them and honestly, it's the only way I can get my protein in for the day.
A lot of people can get their daily protein in without the shakes but I have a hard time. The shakes just make it so much easier for me.
Good luck!
