Lap Band to Sleeve anyone

I would appreciate any and all stories of revisions to sleeve, and how you are doing. How was the surgery? Any complications? Are you losing as much as u thought you would? Thanks!

I'd suggest you contact TripMom02 - she did band to sleeve, had a horrible time with the band, great time with the sleeve, and is at goal weight now.

 My removal was a nightmare, but it was done under emergency surgery since my band was literally killing me. I waited almost three months between my removal and sleeve surgery, and honestly my revision was pretty much a breeze, I had the expected pain and discomfort but absolutely no complications and no food issues. I was home in just over 24 hours, followed all the rules and in less then seven months with the sleeve I am at goal (normal weight, normal BMI etc). 

The sleeve has done everything for me that the band said it would, I love my sleeve.

I guess I'm an anomaly,  but I have not lost any weight after revising to the sleeve (5 mos. ago) from the band. I'll be having the intestinal portion of the DS surgery in July.
