I can't believe that my surgery is almost here....May 23

This journey has been 3 years in the making and several times I didn't think it would ever happen, but here I am 13 days away from surgery

Everything has been submitted and approved, I have checked and double checked over everything with my surgeons office. I completed my registration at the hospital yesterday the only thing left is my pre-op appointment with the surgeon next wed.

I'm feeling like I am on cloud nine, it must be something in my protein shakes because I am even excited about my 2 week pre-op diet (that I actually started last week)

I guess this is just the feeling of knowing that I have worked hard for this surgery, knowing that I did all the research to make sure I chose the right surgery for me, being proud of all my pre-op dieting and working out and of the 45 pounds I have lost so far, being confident in my surgeon and having a wonderful support system of family and friends. I'm ready!!

Scoot over guys, I'm ready to join the losers bench!!
