NO. I didnt. I lied. I didn't lose my weight over night. And neither will you.

I lost 23 pounds my first month or so. Which is completely incidental. Because some lose 20+ pounds. And some lose less. And sometimes people lose quicker than others who are trying 19 times as hard.

But the point is, a veteran sleever at goal is a veteran sleever at goal. No matter how long it took them to get there.

Have patience. You will not change over night. Do not get discouraged and say, "I have only lost X pounds in 14.5 minutes". Its ridiculous. And sometimes we must remind each other to see the forest for the trees.

It took you a lifetime to pack it on and its not going to go away over night. You will lose it, just follow your plan and build a heathy foundation including sticking to your plan, focusing on protein, and exercising when indicating (and again, dont rush into your first 5K!!). Control the things you can, like eating on plan, versus the things you cannot decide, like how quickly your body will let go of its fat stores.

Fo-reals!!!!!!!!!

I FREAKIN love you!

You speak the truth.

I gave up on the last 8 pounds of goal because so many ppl told me I was too skinny but now....I have decided to go there anyway (not telling anybody..lol).

It is possible but it's not a given.
Just gotta put in the effort.
And your advice...spot on.

cheers

You crack me up!

Great post, though. I lost 23 pounds my first month out and was over joyed by that! I'd never lost that much in such a short time before.

You are so right, it comes off when it comes off. We need to just keep plugging along. Last month was a slow month for me, but this month it's like the fat is just melting off again. Hmmmm..... wonder if it has to do with a distinct lack of work stress in my life right now?????? Probably!

Great post as always Sassy (a.k.a Hottest Chick on this board!)

Always like hearing from you.

I need to get off my a$$ and get serious and get to goal...I HATE to lose so I'm confident I'll get there.
