I deserve........
Yesterday, Doggz posted about an "I deserve" moment. Been there, done that more times than I can count, which got me at one point in my life to well over 300 lbs. Doggz, kudos to you for recognizing what happened and that you needed to move on from it. I so hope you're feeling better today!
Your post got me thinking of how so many of us sabotage ourselves with that little (but hugely impacting) phrase. So I thought maybe if we replaced "I deserve this treat (that will undermine my progress), we could replace it with something like "I deserve to be healthy"; "I deserve to be happy", etc. Other ideas to fill in the blank of "I deserve___________"?

I deserve to roll my ass over my shoulders in Pilates cause I've practiced doing it for 4 years. Sorry - you don't know how much pleasure it gives me.
I deserve to feel comfortable in my body. I deserve to cross my legs. I deserve to never have to worry about whether I can fit in a chair (at least in America). I deserve to experience only the normal amount of discomfort when I fly.
I deserve to eat a normal amount of food that I actually like without guilt, shame and remorse.
