Sleeved on monday
I was sleeved on monday and everything went great. I was walking within two hours of getting into my room, and very little pain. Felt like I wa*****hed in the stomach the first day, then it was gone. Worst part was the liquid I had to drink for the leak test, ugh tasted like funiture polish smells. No leaks, everything is working and am heading out for a walk to help get rid of the gas they used. Oh, the really great news is I haven't taken any diabetes medications for three days now and my glucose was 107 this morning, WOO- Hoo hope that keeps up. I will check it everyday to make sure , but it feels great not to have my kidneys and liver process the medication.
Yowza! Glad you're feeling so chipper. Somebody once called the barium stuff "Mop 'n Glo". If there was a leak, I'm not sure I'd want that roaming around inside polishing my innards LOL.
Here's to a great Independence Day to all of us. and if I updated my ticker appropriately, it will show a loss. Yeah, me!
