We all have slips, and thats ok.  It isn't the mistakes we make, but how we recover from them!

You will get back to it - I'm sure!  I do suggest that before you visit home again that you plan some strategies to help you stay closer to on track (but a little coconut icecream - well that sound tempting!)

What she said.

I would only add that another critical skill to learn, imo is how to forgive yourself and let it go. IMO, we tend to be very hard on ourselves when we make mistakes.

Clariposita,
You can't undo what has been done, but you can plan to be wiser and learn from your trip home to improve upon your game plan, the next time.  Look over your recipes with your nutritionist on how to enjoy your native ethnic dishes with a healthier version. (Like using ingredients with less sugar, less sodium, and less fat).  I must admit ignoring ccocoanut ice cream would be hard to do.

Stop feeling horrible.  Now you have a cleaerer idea of what you need to improve upon.  Smile, things will be looking up soon.  We all have our weaknesses...like food.  That is why we are here.  I will get better.  This is a lifetime commitment...everyday.

The best part about the sleeve is how much easier it is to forgive yourself and get right back to the job at hand.

When I've had bad days/week of eating I usually cook up some lean meat, cut into small portions and put in the fridge.

I eat that all day in small amounts. Get in extra fluids and exersize a bit more.

It usually takes the extra gain right off again with none of that nasty pre-surgery feeling of being deprived.

I love my sleeve.

Congrats on a great vacation.
