I had bloodwork done for my 6 month post op next wednesday and my b-12 came back low. I just don't get it. Every two weeks I have to go for a b-12 shot. my 3 month apt my levels were fine. Doesn't make any sense.
Well, for whatever reason, your B12 isn't sticking with you. Get the sublinguals and start taking them every day until the number goes up. Or start getting the shot every week.
I've been taking 500 mcg of B12 sublingual since having surgery. I was taking it daily but my lab came back too high. So now I take it 4 times a week. Walmart has an inexpensive brand that is cherry flavored. Spring Valley sublingual dots.
My blood work at my first po was low and I started b12 4x week and second po he dropped it to 2x week my next check up is in october so I will see then
