I got my date for my surgery!
November 20th! I was trying to have it this summer but insurance did not come back in time. I am in nursing school so I have to wait for my next break which is thanksgiving because I want to give my body time to relax before going back to school and clinicals. I am just so happy that I am actually scheduled! One happy and excited girl right here.

It's really strange, isn't it? That you FINALLY have that date looming in the distance after wanting it for so long and so hard. That's how I felt, anyway. I'll be sleeved on 11/01/12, almost a year to the day after I started all the prep and prereqs. It's exciting, but it's still not quite real to me yet, with about a month to go.
Oh, and - from a 8-year nurse - good luck in Nursing school! We always need more good nurses!!!
