Happy !!

As of this morning I am 78 lbs down. It will be my 4 month surgiversary on November 3rd.

I can walk so much better now. And I remember when I started this journey, some of my friends were telling me that have had VSG "You will have so much energy". I thought to myself, oh I hope so. I guess I never realized how carrying around all the extra weight drags you down each day.

I thank God, my friends, here and at work,  and my super supportive family for all the encouragment throughout this whole process.

God is so good.

Next time you are at Walmart, go to the pet section and pick up a bag of dog food. Most of those are 30-40 lbs each. Pick up two of them and then see how easy it is to move around. My husband did that to me the other day. I've lost 41 lbs so far. We were at the Walmart and he hands me a bag of dog food...THIS is what you have lost! Really puts it in perspecitve for me!
