Finally.....

Well, its been almost 12 years of searching and struggles and a year of jumping through insurance hoops but I finally have my surgery date !!!

Just as I was beginning to think all hope was lost and this door was closed to me, God bust through the door and doctors office calls to celebrate success.
Very excited but also just a bit anxious, as with any surgery. So off to the cardiologist on Monday for cardiac clearance then the 29th I have pre-surgery testing; including endoscopy, pulmonary testing and pre-surgery class. Finally doctor appoint on the 30th with Dr. Khaitan then wait for the call for time of surgery on the 13th.

I'm assuming this is supposed to say 2012, not 2013.. Either way, congratulations on finally getting approved.. I hope all the tests and stuff come back good too.. :)
