Onederland at last! Stair-stepping down the scale
I've been stair-stepping my way down the scale since my VSG on 6/28. Lose, stall, lose, stall, lose, stall... But today the scale read 198.8! I started at 251 on my surgery day, so I have lost 52 pounds in 4 1/2 months. I started my journey towards VSG at 282 pounds, so total loss of 83 pounds. I am wearing my size 14 Calvin Klein jeans (from Goodwill!) today and feeling great. I am getting lots of compliments every day at the school where I teach. My thighs no longer rub together when I walk. I am eating a pretty limited diet but I am pretty content with it. I work about 65 hours a week, so I have a selection of foods that fit my plan that I stick with throughout the week. I am hoping to have some time to cook a little and try some new things over Thanksgiving. But truly, food just doesn't taste that great anymore and even past favorite foods have little appeal for me. The one food I love is the Matrix mint cookie shake with unsweetened almond milk. I have that every day, and look forward to it. Maybe even crave it a little. So far so good on the VSG journey!
Awesome! I bet the stair-step method is a bit frustrating but the results are still great - keep it up!

I hear you on the exercise vs time issue. I'm in a good place on that for now, but I know that time stress can throw me off. The results are so positive right now that I'm hoping they become more self- sustaining as I get close to goal. These last few pounds will take some extra effort.
