Diabectic Help Needed

Can someone tell me what are good Diabetic sugar numbers???? I an Diabectic and have had 119-120 fasting numbers and 140 to 150 after meal sugar numbers. Are these consider high or that I am still a Diabetic? I had my Sleeve done 11/12/2012. Please any help is a blessing.

Your fastings are still considered high.  They should be less than 100, ideally less than 90. 

Remember Diabetes is never cured, it's just controlled with weight loss and WLS.

Your postprandial numbers should be less than 140 at 2 hours after your first bite.

So your numbers are still a little elevated, however, they are not bad.  Keep doing what you're doing - as you lose more, your fastings will most likely decrease and your pp will decrease too.

I agree with the previous poster, your #s are still a little high.  They're not bad though.  I had surgery in July and I was just taken off of insulin about 3 weeks ago.  Just keep following your plan and as the weight comes your sugar levels should improve.
