Unexpected NSV
To understand you need backstory. I had radiation on my left hand and wrist as an infant because of a birthmark. The radiation made my left lower arm and hand stop growing by the time I was in primary school. The hand and wrist have been skinny all of my life - my wedding rings were chosen partly because they're really beautiful and partly because they could be sized down to 2 3/4. (Very few nice adult rings can be made that small)
With that background, you wouldn't worry a whole lot about needing your rings resized, would you? Well, they're currently being resized down to 2 1/4 because they were falling off. They'll be ready next week.
