...Only when I laugh
I love to laugh. In fact, I live to laugh. So how surprised was I to find that laughing hurts like heck post operatively. I'm only 3 days out, but someone please give me your best guestimate on when I can comfortably laugh again. BTW, I had hiatal hernia repair along with the sleeve. I'm not sure which procedure is causing the pain when I laugh or try to take too large of a breath.
Thanks,
Lynn
It hurts me to laugh, cough and yawn too. I didn't have a hiatal hernia repair so I guess it's normal for stomach surgery. I had abdominal surgery before and the same thing. It gets better in like 4 to 6 weeks.
