3 month check up
This if my very first post, so bare with me! I had the VSG with Dr. Aceves October 22, 2012. Yesterday was 3 months! I went in to my PCP and had my blood work done. Everything was great, except for my B 12 is high and my HDL cholesterol is low. I'm not sure what to do about the cholesterol, but I already reduced my B 12 over the weekend when I switched from a sublingual pill to one I swallow. (I have a message in with Dr. Aceves to see if what I'm doing is what he suggests.) I'm so happy! I figured my labs were probably good because I feel fabulous! I'm so glad I made the decision to have the surgery! The best news of all is I'm down to 199 pounds and have lost 47 pounds since the surgery and 56 since I decided to go down this road! I'm one happy woman right now! I can't wait to see what the next 3 months holds!
