Just Because You Can...

Does anyone else look at the Before and After pictures on the home screen and say..."JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD WEAR THAT"?

Don't get me wrong I go there for inspiration everyday to keep myself motivated. I am proud of their hard work and accomplishments but really want to refer them to "What not to wear"

Yep - I've thought that too.  Hopefully haven't had too many moments where I put on outfits that were just wrong - I have my live in critic (my daughter) to steer me in the right direction.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I was starting to feel like a "Mean Girl" for thinkin the same thing. I understand their hard work and wanting to show it off, but there is a thing called dignity.

Seriously,

After a lifetime of being told you can't wear that, you still have to listen to it having achieved your weight loss goals, from people who should have some empathy?

Also after a lifetime of having one body it may take a moment to click into how to cloth it.

And speaking of dignity, it's also dignified, to say nothing, if you haven't got anything good to say.

You can write your story any way you want, so can everyone else.  Different strokes and all that.

You are so very right. I regret my earlier comments and hope I have learned a lesson from this.

There's a difference in what you're talking about, though. If they lose all that weight and want to wear a bikini, that's fine. But at least have enough respect for yourself not to have camel toe hanging out for the world to see it. There are some things in this world that NO ONE should wear. That's what I was talking about. OH and I do judge people who have always been skinny and wear the same things. No one needs to see ass cheeks, vajayjay, or nipples showing through their clothes. :)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA I just about spit my Tassimo skinny latte all over.

Ok... Seriously... I asked if anyone had a bathing suit in my current size because I know the one I have will show my vajayjay if I bend over and I want to go swimming but am reluctant to drop mega coin on a suit when I am a clothing optional girl to begin with.

Yep... I am really that backwards. Clothing optional is cool when suitable for anyone who has the moxy to do it but if you are clothed... there should be something covered.

Well I clearly do not have access to the porn section of the before and afters because nary a nipple or a vagina have i seen.  And let me just say for all those arbiters of good taste...no one thinks they look bad when they step outside and are you really sure you look as good or as you think? You being the universal you.

The world is full of people who look at others and point out their flaws.  Isn't it possible they too have them but just can't see them. Because the amount of tongue biting I've done in my life while listening to someone talk about someone else's attire, while not quite appearing to my eyes as if they belong on the cover of Vogue is substantial.

Yeah there's lots of mean girls in the world with faulty eyesight, taste and decorum.  So wouldn't we all be better off just taking care of our own vajayjay's? Instead of slamming people on something they clearly have a great deal of pride in I.E., dropping hundreds of pound and photographing it for their community.
