Funny NSV with my son...

Hi Guys!

So I take my 15 yr old son to the Doc today. My mind is on 25 different things while we're in the exam room waiting. I look up and realize my son is looking at me with this VERY strange face ( did I say he's 15?).

So I panic and ask "What's wrong??!!" He says " What are you doing?" I tell him I'm sitting waiting for the doctor. He asks why I'm sitting " LIKE THAT?". I think OMG! Like what??! I look down, and notice I've got my legs crossed. I look back up at him ( he's got 6 inches on me)...I ask what the problem is...he says " Well nothing mom, I just never saw you sit like that before"

I realize that he NEVER HAS seen me sit with my legs crossed. I haven't comfortably sat with my legs crossed in 16 years.

The rest of the day is a blur. I'm still high on that moment!

Anyone else have any cool NSV's that involve their kids or grandkids??

I love my sleeve!!!

Peace all!!

~Deb

How cool is that!? I know what you mean about "the look". My sons, 24 and 26, who live out of town, give me the weird look when they come over- the eldest hasn't said a word yet- just these sidelong "looks" that seem to say, "where's mom-what have you done with her?" The youngest is pretty chatty about it all. I'm digging every minute of it.

Very cool, Deb!  Keep up the great work!

Around the time I hit Twoderville my 7yo grandson, who is the keeper of all knowledge,  ;-)  informed me at dinner one night that I was no longer fat.  Well, I am still fat, but I was amazed that he had noticed the 50-some-pound weight loss at that point.

About two weeks ago he told me that I have much more lap now.   That one I can't argue.   :-D

Congrats. My 12 year old grand daughter was here last week and when she went to leave and give me a kiss good bye, she said wow Grammpy I can get my arms all the way around you. Guess I never thought about that before. Bob
