One month out; stats
So, I was 4 weeks post-op on Wednesday the 13th. I've lost 18 lbs. since surgery, 39 lbs total :) My waist measurement was 3.25 inches smaller today! I am so glad I made the decision to have WLS. I am starting to see the potential in my life for wonderful things as a result of this process. I feel very blessed that I was able to have VSG. I'm learning to love and respect my sleeve, and my thoughts and attitudes about food are slowly changing. What a wonderful gift!
HW: 283 SW: 262 Height: 5'4'' Surgery: 2/13/13
My surgery was 2/19 so I am nearly at the 4 week mark. I've lost weight (about 20 lbs) but I never did get measurements so I'm not sure about other measurable changes (such as my waist). I am still afraid of stretching my sleeve and that I may be overeating...and still wonder if the surgeon made my tummy small enough (just a general surgeon and he didn't use a bougie), but I have been told that these concerns are normal right now and I'll try to stop whining!
