Wear it while it fits! A non-problem problem.

So I bought some really lovely tops and somewhat dressy jackets when my sis and I were out shopping a few months back. They were snug, but I knew they'd fit after awhile.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I decided to wear one of the jackets to church "even though the sleeves are too snug." You guessed it - not snug anymore - score!!
So - I decided to wear it again this week - while it still fit. After church I took a pic for my sis and realised something... The sleeves aren't snug anymore because it's too big.
Moral of the story? Try on the stuff in your "shrink into it" stash every week. The scale doesn't tell the whole story. I'm only losing about 5# a month now, but my skin is tightening up noticeably, so inches are going down faster than expected.

Darn, I need to go shopping again.

"Only" 70 since surgery - 35-ish with the miserable old starve and move method, but thanks. At my age, with my history and activity level, I'm thrilled with 5# a month.

It sure is! I'm a tiny bit sad about the jackets, but not sad enough to want the weight back - and it'll be fun to see what size is snuggish now. (No point in buying something that fits perfectly)

This is so true!  I pulled a t-shirt out of the back of the drawer yesterday and it's one I bought last Fall and when I got home it was snug and I never wore it.  Pulled it out yesterday and it's perfect.
