Another NSV today - I can't believe it!

Last year I started running.  I ran a 5k, 8k, 10k and half marathon in October.  I did all this ranging from 215-230 pounds.  I trained from March to October for the races.  One I finished the half marathon I was burnt out so I stopped running telling myself if was just for a few weeks to help recover.  Well, a few weeks turned into months.  Since October 14th (6 months now) I've ran maybe 2 times.

Today I got on the treadmill and turned the TV on and ran.  I ran 3 miles WITHOUT STOPPING!!!  I can't believe it!  I was prepared to have to start my training all over again with walk/run intervals but it was so easy.  My body remembered what to do and being 25 pounds lighter than when I ran the half marathon surely helped.

I feel amazing!

That is very impressive.  I can't stand running unless it is after a ball and I get to win a point as a reward. I sure hope after my surgery I can embrace running as you have.  Great job! I bet it does feel amazing!

hahahhaah even when I was a young and thin surfer girl, I still hated running!!  I only ran when a bear was chasing me and we all know how often that was!! LOL

I am so proud of you Ms. thang!! Keep up the great work and I am so happy your body remembered that excellent habit to have!!!!

If you EVER see me running call 911. Because SOMEBODY is chasing me with a knife and they are probably in a clown suit.
