I cannot believe its been a year! My starting weight was 203. My lowest weight after surgery was 163. But with the normal stresses of life I started to "eat my feelings" and was up to 171. I've been overweight most of my life and this journey has taught me so much. I went from a size 16 to a 10. I am not hell bent on being 120lbs because my body is just not built that way, but rather to be the healthiest version of myself I can be. I'm back on track and am just so thankful for surgery! Xo everyone!!

"My weight loss journey is just that, a journey. Where the end goal is not to be skinny but to be healthy"!

Congratulations on a successful year!!!!  I hear ya about the normal stresses of life because the same thing happened to me.  I am 20 months out & let the scale creep up 23 pounds.  I had to stop it before it got out of control.  I am now 6 pounds from my lowest weight & even then I would like to lose a few more because I never really lost the extra few pounds I wanted for "bounce room".  I also don't need to be a size 4 again like I was in my 20's.  I already know I wouldn't be able to look the same way 20 years later.  Being healthy is my main motivation too so I can live a long healthy life with my kids & family.  Take care of yourself & rock that sleeve!!!!
