I swallowed GUM

My mother used to tell me that if I swallowed gum, I'd be blowing bubbles out my ass. I was the smartass that wanted to test that theory. lol

I agree with the others. If you start feeling strange at all, call the doctor. My doc told me to stay away from it for the same reasons everyone else is talking about. Good luck!

Hahahaha... please, don't worry about it. The acid in your stomach is much stronger than some gum. You aren't going to die or anything. Try not to swallow it again and if you feel anything horrible, call your doc, but honestly... stomach acid is VERY strong and that gum is likely not going to cause a problem at 3 weeks out.

Just don't do it again, who needs those empty calories?!?! *laughing*

I did the same thing ! I love gum !

I can stay away from bread , sweets , and pasta but I can't stay away from gum .......crazy right ?!  I've done it twice now and I'm alive , I did tell my doctor and he told me that its not going to hurt me since I'm almost 13 weeks out but I should try to  avoid gum if it gives me gas , makes me crave other trigger foods and I shouldn't be swallowing it :)

Swallowing gum can be bad if it sticks somewhere. Usually it just gets pooped out though. And not in 7 years!
