Saying Hi.

I have been enjoying this site for a few weeks now. I had tried another site, but it was uncomfortable the way veterans would slam you if your diet didn't match theirs, or if you asked a question they felt had been asked too many times.

I had surgery March 18th. I started my journey in January at 262 pounds, I was 244 on the day of surgery and today, after a 2 week stall, I am at 226.

I am looking for some support , some accountability and a few laughs along this life journey.

Welcome! Sounds like you are doing very well with your new VSG life. OH is a great place to learn and ask questions. Sometimes people can be a little harsh or snippy (me included), but it's usually meant with the best of intentions or good humor!!! Never feel bad about asking a question. There will always be someone who is willing to answer!

Congratulations on your journey so far! And I completely agree about this site versus others---most people on here seem genuinely happy for your progress and are so willing to extend a hand or some helpful hints to get you moving. Hope to see you around here more!!

Welcome!  You have done very well so far!  My stats are similar to yours.  I started at 264, I have lost 19 so far and my surgery is on Tuesday.  So I should be around 245 or less by then.  Take care and keep in touch!
