Caffeine = hunger control? Super hyper rant.

I don't do caffeine much anymore. I'm really sensitive to it, now. However comma since that TOM is right around the corner, I started getting extremely hungry, insatiable almost. And I'm craving all the good **** we aren't supposed to have. Hubby, being the absolute sweetheart he is, went and got me a Diet Dew. He let it go pretty flat before handing it over. (I freakin love that man!) He figured he shouldn't give me EVERYTHING I was craving, but that one shouldn't be too bad.

So here I am, with a semi flat Diet Dew, cleaning my house top to bottom (did I mention I'm sensitive to caffeine now?? lol), and I'm not hungry at all. I had my protein shake, vitamins, 16 oz of crystal light, and a few sips of my Dew. I wondered if it was contributing to my not being hungry. Then again, it could be that I'm so hyper active, I'm not noticing. Up up and awaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy! I warned you people I'm hyper!

LOL!  Well, you certainly sound like you are burning up some calories!  My nut actually said that's why I can't go back to my coffee yet....it's an appetite suppressent and she wants to make sure I'm eating "normally" before I re-introduce caffeine....can't wait!  It makes cleaning the house so much easier!

I hate to admit but my iced coffee helps keep me in check as far as me limiting the amount of sweet stuff that goes into my mouth.  It's usually enough to satisfy me AND keep my energy up.  Diet Mountain Dew gurl???  Um yea, that hyperness will certainly happen by drinking that!!!  Damn ... I miss MD ... for reals.  I used to LOOOVE Diet MD Code Red... GAAAWWWWD!  It's the best of both... MD with cherry flavor.  Damn!!!!

OMG I loooooooooved Code Red! I was usually a Dr. Pepper girl, but the taste is weird to me now. Now I'm all about the Diet Dew (Said in my best Earnhardt Jr. voice). haha I can't lie, I am having fits for just ONE freakin square of a Caramello, but I know damn good and well I will want more. hahaha

 I tell ya what! I went through the kids' toys, swept the floors, got the dishes done, started on dinner, had my a/c fixed (wire burnt out on it), went through hubby's drawer of Army clothes, and I'm about to clean out his side of the closet. I'm on a freakin ROLL today!

I only do caffeinated coffee in the morning.  But I usually have a large decaf in the afternoon.  I drink it black with sweetener and a little hot chocolate.  If I make the drink at home, I use stevia and 1/2 packet diet Swiss Miss powder (12.5 calories).  But, when I get it from D 'n D, it's 2 splenda and about 1/2 inch or so of mint hot chocolate.  Very yummy and makes me feel like I'm having a real treat.  It usually curbs my appetite if I'm feeling hungry.  I figure, the little bit of hot chocolate I have is only about 25-30 calories and

Hmm, wonder if it's just that you're busy-busy.  I've been drinking a lot of Barry's Gold Blend brewed tea lately (unsweetened), which has been supplying a good hit of caffeine, but I personally haven't noticed any difference in my hunger, such as it is.  Then again, I'm menopausal and not subject to TOM sway, so my results may vary.
