We just had a beautiful 72 degree day here in Michigan.  Kinda late in the year and of course it was 47 the next day, but....I got out in the yard and was working and cleaning things out and enjoying the new sprouts when suddenly it dawned no me.....I had been working for 2 hours and hadn't sat down once!!!!!  Huge NSV!!   This time last year I would work for about 10 minutes (raking, bending and  digging) and then have to sit down.  Then I would have to convince myself to get up and do another 10 minutes of work.  Later in the year I finally gave it up and let my husband do the yard work...and he pulled up some really nice plants, thinking they were weeds!  I vowed I would be the one working in the yard the next year.....and I DID!   I didn't even realize that I had been out there that long.   I just enjoyed spring and my garden.  I told myself I had better relax a little so I could move the next day, but couldn't stand it and worked another 2 hours.  And here it is 2 days later and I'm still NOT sore!   I can't tell you what a HUGE NSV this is.  It's part of the reason I had surgery.  I feel great, I look better and I have my life back!  What a wonderful spring and summer (and new life)  it's gonna be.

YEA SPRING!

Never dreamed that I could feel this good about myself again.  Looking forward to many healthy years now.

Thank you for sharing your NSV, as I find it very inspiring. THESE are the kinds of things I am most looking forward to. I mean, fitting into smaller clothes will be fun and all, but I can't wait until I am physically able to do all of the things I enjoy.
