So, i have been looking forward to getting to the mushy food stage since forever. I have counted down the days since I had anything that was not liquid (25 days). I had my 3 meals all planned out. For breakfast, 2 eggs soft scrambled with a sprinkle of cheese, cottage cheese for lunch, refried beens with another sprinkle of cheese for dinner. YUM! And lots of liquid protein in between to reach my numbers. So I scramble the eggs, sit down (the dog is staring at me really puzzled, because I haven't had a plate in almost a month). First bite....HEAVEN! 30 minutes later, I have barely finished 1 egg, I am almost mad, BUT...WAIT... shhh... Does this mean... my sleeve... IS WORKING!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO. Meanwhile, my dog is confused.. Why isn't she finishing ALL the food on her plate as usual. She creeps up, starts eating with one eye carefully on me in case I flip out on her and... Nothing. After she finished she snuggled with me extra hard! Lol. Well stick around girl, I have a feeling you will be finishing many more plates. I have been full all day! I didn't even get to the 3rd meal, but, I still got in my protein and liquids. SLEEVE SUCCESS!

Love it! I was smiling when you wrote 2 eggs because I knew where it was going. The first egg I tried I was able to eat maybe 1/2 - if that. Isn't it great to know how well your new stomach is working?!

It's awesome! I must admit, I was a little worried because I have had no issues with the liquids at all. I was hoping my sleeve was't too big... And of course there is always the negative Nellie I keep tied up in the back of my mind who keeps trying to tell me that I have tried to lose weight for 12 years and since nothing else has worked, this won't either... Well, I just clubbed Miss Nellie with a hammer (and an egg) to shut her up! Lol! Geesh, i just wish she woulbgo away already!

Can totally relate! My dog had steak, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes the other day. He's also starting to get my kids' food since they have too many carbs for the new me (figured it out the hard way). He's a happy boy :)

I was laughing the other day as I made two eggs for each of my dogs, who weigh 12 pounds each at the most, and one egg for me, which I couldn't even finish, and they finished for me.  Just didn't seem right.  They were certainly sad that I wasn't eating food they could have during the liquid phase, but like that I'm eating lots of eggs now, which I always make for them too.

My cats LOVED me for weeks for the same reason.  I actually had some period of time where food just sounded ick and I coudln't ever finish...they always hopped up and finished for me.
