lead me not into temptation....
2 pre-journey wins today! I'm tracking stuff on MFP and practicing/rehearsing the process of tracking everything. I have a week to go until I hit my 2 week 20g carb preop diet.
I was in a half-day meeting where food was provided. I was sitting next to the box of bagels. They smelled delicious, but I didn't want one. Thanks, protein loading first thing in the morning!
Box lunches were ordered in. I had the fruit cup and 1/2 of the sandwich. I left the rest of the sandwich, the chips, and the cookie behind. i felt satisfied, no regrets.
I realize I am eating way more carbs than I will be starting a week from now, but I'm proud of the practice steps I'm taking. I am learning about myself and realizing that I just need to keep that protein coming constantly to keep hunger spikes later in the day.
Onward!
