FATHER'S DAY without my dad :(

My husband just took the girls to go spend FATHER's DAY with my family to celebrate my DAD.  I called to tell my dad how much I LOVE him, but I am so weak right now with surgery this week (they are having a fried chicken dinner) I knew I could not resist eating til my heart & stomach was content.  I am going to treat myself to listening to music, reading and catching up around the house instead of feeling sorry for myself because I know I made the right decision!  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU DAD'S

(((Hugs))) It's rough - but you did the right thing for you!  Good luck with surgery.  Next year you will all get to be together!

i'm so sorry that you are missing out but take comfort in the fact that you still have your dad and he is going to see you change your life!  I lost my dad almost 4 years ago and he never got to see me get healthy, I would give anything to have him back and hear him tell him he is proud of me!

Hang in there!

My feeling exactly!  I lost my dad 2 years ago and It is a hard day for me.

Good luck with your surgery, recovery and WLS journey.
