What should I bring to the hospital?

A little nervous now.  I'm scheduled to have my sleeve done at 8:45 tomorrow morning, will need to be at the hospital at 6:45. 

 

I was told to bring chapstick and underwear.  If you can think of anything else I should bring please let me know.

Thank you.  I don't know what I would have done without OH, everyone is so willing to share and have great advice.

Not a lot. Bring something to walk in - robe, slippers or sandals. I brought my I Phone. I wore the clothes home that I wore to the hospital. The hospital supplied hygiene items except for deodorant.  Best wishes on your new journey! I have no regrets!

MY surgery is in a week and my Dr. told me to bring shoes to be up walking around and comfy bottoms so I don't have to feel self conscious about being out in the halls in just a hospital gown. Personally, I'm going to bring a bra with convertible straps so I can wear one even with an IV. Can't have the girls wandering about :)

Good luck! Stuff I am glad I had - my slippers, some cheapo maxi dresses from Walmart that doubled as night gowns, didnt put pressure on my incisions and made me feel non-sick and presentable while walking the halls, and my face wash.

A word on those dresses - I have worn them just about daily. Today was only the second or third time wearing shorts since surgery. Best preop purchase I made.
